I am interested in the rhetoric of space, place and time, which places my scholarly endeavors more or less equally in the intellectual sub-disciplines of rhetorical/critical/mediated geographies, public monuments and memory, material rhetorical criticism, and environmental communication. Current projects deal with public memory of major anti-globalization protests, developing a research program for reading the "city as a mediated experience" and, as always, studying the rhetoric of memory places.
